Larry Fann photo: Taken at QuiNhon sometime in the last half of 1970. I was dropping off a CH-47C for 1200 hours maintenance and picking up a replacement aircraft. We were at QuiNhon several days trying to clear enough write-ups to accept the replacement. That is me, Larry Fann, on the right and a flight school classmate (Class 69-25) Bill Stone on the left. Bill flew slicks out of FB Lane about 10 miles West of QuiNhon. I don't remember the aircraft tail number nor who made the trip with me. If this was pre-August I was still a WO1. I believe my callsign was Hillclimber 18 at the time but changed to Hillclimber 20 when I finished in-country MOI and my IP checkride with Mac Maclaren in early November 1970..
