Comments:	I was a Hillclimber 67-68. Plt ldr and Maint Officer. Next tour was with the Cav. We had our good times and bad like all of you. We lost some great kids. Just hope we did some good.

Comments:	I WAS ASSIGNED TO THE 147TH FROM 1975 TO 1978 AT BARBER'S POINT NAS. I WAS A ROOKIE JUST OUT OF AIT. I REMEMBER ALL THE HELP I GOT FROM THE SPEEDY FIVES AND SIXES WHEN I GOT AN AIRCRAFT DUMPED ON ME AS A PFC FLIGHT ENGINEER. THOSE GUYS REALY TAUGHT ME ALOT. I STAYED WITH THE CH-47 FOR 22 YEARS OF ACTIVE DUTY AND NOW WORKING AS A CIVIL SERVICE EMPLOYEE IN THE 47 PM. I DO MISS THE FLIGHT LINE. KEEP THE FAITH OUT THERE. HOOKERS ARE ALWAYS A STEP AHEAD OF THE REST.

Comments:	haven't been in here in a while. Went over with the unit in 65, left in nov66. I was in tech supply than transferred to the maint. det. Spent 2 more tours in nam as flt eng. and tech inspector. Great site. Like to here from bernie mayfield. Keep up the good work on this site

Comments:	I serviced from 10-68 to 11-69 at Vung-Tau with the best of the best the 147th. A.S.H. Hillclimbers. MY CO was Major Hunt, XO Capt. Fraser,I serviced with First Sgt. Parker,JOE King,Dave Clement,Bill Baxtner,Jim Roman,O.Brown,Tony Redhead.I Would like to hear from any of the men in my unit.To the best group of Vietnam Veterans,the hillclimbers.
